Crafts from bags. Crafts from plastic bags What can be made from plastic bags

You can make very interesting and beautiful crafts for your home and garden from multi-colored plastic bags. Crafts are made very simply, but whole masterpieces come out of them, and you will also get great pleasure from the work done. We already have interesting ones on our website and you should definitely check them out too.
Today we will look at an interesting master class on making chicken from plastic bags, the author of this tutorial is Natalya Semyonova. If you make a chicken from multi-colored bags, then you will get it bright, beautiful and with luxurious plumage.
Natalya saw a photo of this cute chicken on the Internet and immediately got the idea to create exactly the same one. There were no explanations on how to make chicken, so I had to come up with everything myself. Natalya hopes that her master class will be useful to someone. But if you find another way to make it, we will be glad if you share it with us.

To make chicken we need:
* Plastic bags.
* Thick wire.
* Thin wire.
* Pen or pencil.
* Sheet A 4 - 2 pcs.
* Thermal gun.

Method for making chicken:
We will make a sketch on two sheets of A 4 and then bend the frame from thick wire using it. We make the frame approximately, then when you create volume for it, all the flaws will be covered.

She moved her paws to the sides so that in the end they would not be from the same point.

Natalya dreamed of making a chicken from colored bags, but she only came across rustling ones, and they wouldn’t look very good. Therefore, I decided to make soft, dense bags from what I had (the black one is thinner), from which we can make a pied hen))).
We cut strips from the bags, 3 cm strips will be needed on the body, and 2 cm on the head. The strips also need to be cut across to make a long ribbon. It didn’t take a lot of bags to make the chicken, 3-4 pieces of each color. It also depends on the tightness of the parts.

Now we take a thin wire and start assembling a ribbon on it, we should get a ruffle like in the photo.

The volume of the chicken is made of bags, we fix it with tape or some kind of synthetic tape. We start adding volume to the chicken from the tail. We put a corner of the bag on the tail and fasten it with tape. We braid five braids from bags, securing the edges with a stapler. Now we glue the frills to the bag on the tail with a glue gun.
The chicken will turn out to be approximately the size of a regular chicken, it all depends on the frame, which one you draw, that’s what you’ll get. You can stuff the chicken with unnecessary rags or paper, but if you are making it for the street, then stuff it with plastic bags, otherwise everything inside will rot. It is best to glue the finished frills with a glue gun.

Gradually we reach the breast.

We shape the breast from bottom to top like a frill.

If we do not change the length of the ribbons, then we will end up with a plump breast.

We take the wire and make paws from it.

We screw it onto the base, but it doesn’t turn out very securely, so we fill it with hot glue.

We trace the head on plastic (you can take a stand for hot food), draw a comb, beak, beard and cut it out with an allowance of 0.5 cm. We fix it with a glue gun (a super thing, after all), it’s better to paint it before fixing it.

We are finishing the final touches - adding ruffles to the head. We will make the eyes from the buttons on the leg, paint them with orange nail polish and draw the eyes with a black permanent marker. We wrap the legs with tape cut from the packaging. The chicken from the plastic bags is ready.

Beach basket taken from OSINKA

I knitted it simply, in single crochets. in a circle, everything by eye, but measured on the knee, when you sit, the leg is bent at the knee at an angle of 90 degrees, so you put this handbag on this bent knee, turn the very convenient template. Two such panama hats are knitted, then they are put into one another, the bottom I glued it together with glue, my husband gave it to me, it hardens quickly, well, probably like our Moment. On the side I also glued the edges of the panama hats, and it turned out to be two pockets, I inserted a magnetic button inside, I knitted the handles like this - 6-8 loops and then with single crochets in a circle. Well, what else, I think I wrote everything. Well, about the hook, depending on how thick you cut the ribbons, i.e. what bags do you have, I crocheted 4, but again I cut them by eye, the blue ones are thicker, because... The bags are thin, and the white ones are thinner because... thicker bags...

I think these bags can also be knitted from plastic bags...

Progress:

  1. Cut the plastic bag into strips about 1 cm wide.

  3. Use wire to make a petal blank with your own hands. Form a loop from it and secure it at the base with a twisting motion. There should be a tail of 2 cm. We need to make 6 of these petals.
  4. We wrap each blank for a craft petal in a bag so that the wire is completely covered, and fix it with a rope at the place where the tip of the wire is located.
  5. Now let's start forming the flower. Take the first petal and slightly bend its sides inward, then make a loop from the previously prepared braid and secure the structure with thread.
  6. Next, attach the second petal and loop in the same way.
  7. We bend the edges of the remaining petals and attach them to the flower, alternating petals with pigtail loops. We give it a voluminous and beautiful shape.
  8. When all the parts are assembled and secured, straighten the tips of the petals outward. This way you will get a voluminous and open flower. Easter basket for kindergarten

If you were asked to bring a craft for Easter in kindergarten, and you made beautiful eggs with your own hands and don’t know what to put them in, then you should like such a small and elegant basket. It is made from cheap materials such as plastic bags, which almost every person has in their home. For beginners, this work will not require much effort and will not take a lot of time.

You will need:

  • Yellow bags
  • Bucket of mayonnaise,
  • glue gun,
  • Decorative rope,
  • Scissors,
  • Double-sided tape,
  • Needle with thread.

Progress:

  1. We cut the polyethylene into strips so that the width allows us to completely seal the bucket. We glue tape in vertical stripes onto the bucket itself, and then cover it with a bag. We do this so that afterwards there are no gaps between the shuttlecocks.
  2. Now we make our own shuttlecocks. We cut off the top and bottom sides of the polyethylene and cut it lengthwise into two parts. We need 6 of these blanks.
  3. Using a needle and thread, baste the long part of the polyethylene blank. We need 2 blanks for one row. You need to gather the top part by pulling the thread. Tie the workpiece. Don't forget to try our shuttlecock on a bucket to find out how much you need to tighten the thread. The shuttlecock must completely “hug” the bucket in a circle once.
  4. We need 3 of these shuttlecocks. Make sure your skirts are not too long. If you don't like the length, just cut off the extra part.
  5. Now use glue to attach the shuttlecocks to the bucket, starting from the bottom.
  6. The top one needs to be glued neatly and evenly along the edge.
  7. Make a flat braid from the bags with your own hands and glue it to the edge of the top flounce, covering the unsightly edge.
  8. Now let's make a handle. If you have a handle on a bucket, you can simply decorate it with colorful polyethylene, wrapping our braid around it. If you don’t have a handle, make it out of rope, which you can decorate in the same way.
  9. You can also decorate the basket with flowers or beads.
  10. The basket is ready, you can fill it halfway with cotton wool or other filling, and now you can put Easter eggs on it. Such an interesting craft will bring a lot of pleasure and positivity to everyone around you.

  4. We need a lot of inflated bags of different colors.

Elegant Christmas tree

Stores are full of a huge variety of Christmas trees, but the price is sometimes steep. Therefore, I want to offer an option for a budget Christmas tree that you can make with your own hands from a plastic bag. You can involve your child in the execution process, since the craft is designed for children from 4 years old. Let's see how to make a Christmas tree with step-by-step instructions for beginners. You will need:

  • Sushi sticks - 3 pcs.,
  • Thick plastic bags (green),
  • glue gun,
  • Wire,
  • Scissors,
  • Cardboard from the box (thick).

Progress:

  1. To create an interesting craft at home, glue sushi sticks together.
  2. We attach the wire to sticks and make tree branches with our own hands. To prevent the wire from sliding off the barrel, secure it with tape.
  3. We cut out strips from the bag, 3-4 cm wide, and make a fringe by cutting the strip. Leave 1 cm of width uncut. Make several of these.
  4. Now cover the branches of the Christmas tree with fringe in a circular motion. Start gluing from the edge of the branch. This way you need to cover the entire tree. At the trunk, the fringe should be facing down.
  5. If you want to add volume to your craft, you can make additional branches with your own hands. Roll the paper into a tight tube and cover it with fringe. You first need to wind it halfway from one end, and then do the same on the other side so that the needles are located in different directions.
  6. Bend the resulting branch in half and glue it to the bottom of the wire branch.
  7. This way you can add the required number of additional branches.
  8. Cut out a cross-shaped stand from cardboard. The sides of the cross should be long enough.
  9. You need to glue the Christmas tree to the center.
  10. Now decorate it and the craft is ready.

Dog made from plastic bags

In order to surprise your children with an interesting DIY craft made from bags for beginners, pay attention to the step-by-step master class we provided. He will give you, dear friends, a wonderful idea on how to create a cool toy from available scrap materials easily and quickly at home.   • washcloths for base or filler of any type;
  • textile;
  • needle and thread;
  • a piece of leatherette for the nose;
  • homemade eyes.

Manufacturing process:

  1. We use washcloths to make the base of our craft in the shape of a dog. We sew all the details together using a needle and thread.
  2. Now we need to cover the washcloth base with a cloth. To do this, we take any material that is unnecessary for household use and gradually hide all the details of the product under it. For this process you will also need a needle and thread.
  3. After this, we create the dog’s coat. For this purpose, we cut the existing bags into rectangular strips and fold them in half. We finely cut the edges of all blanks in the form of a fringe. It is necessary to create as many of these polyethylene parts as are needed to decorate the animal as a whole.
  4. Upon completion of this part of the work, we need to sew all the blanks to the body, starting from the tail and ending with the muzzle. The fringe should stick out like wool, and the opposite side should be sewn to the base.
  5. When you have completely completed this creative stage, you need to revive the dog with eyes made with your own hands from leatherette and fabric, a nose and attach bows or hairpins to the ears, at your own request. We made such an interesting craft from ordinary plastic bags. For beginners, this process will not be particularly labor-intensive and will certainly be enjoyed.

Manufacturing funny toys« rustlers» We have been teaching our students for more than 12 years.

The idea of converting polyethylene packages into fun crafts was the beginning of long-term environmental project: "I can toys trash turn» .

To support our children’s interest in this topic, we have prepared advisory materials for them parents: « Merry« rustling creatures» or what to do with a child on a day off.” Now the mothers and fathers of our next pupils have been full participants in this project for several years.

Making such work for a child This: development of fine motor skills, attention, thinking; nurturing perseverance, accuracy, and the ability to bring the work started to its logical conclusion; these are always positive emotions, flights of fancy, aesthetic pleasure and pride from the knowledge that these packages could pollute our city, and we, like real wizards, turn them into beauty.

Stages of magical transformation:

1. Cut out several pairs of rings of different sizes from cardboard. Place the rings of each pair one on top of the other.

2. Made from polyethylene packages cut out strips of different widths. We will wrap the rings folded in pairs with these strips until the ribbons fill the hole in the ring. Therefore, it is better to cut narrow strips for small rings, and wide ones for large ones.

3. Then we cut the resulting polyethylene winding along the edge of the ring with scissors and pull the product along the formed groove with a strong thread. Let's remove the cardboards. (Pompoms are made from wool threads using exactly the same principle).

4. Before us is a finished pom-pom - « rustle» . It can serve on its own toy, but you don’t have to stop there and give free rein to your imagination

Of multi-colored « rustlers» , various sizes, you can collect various funny toys. « Rustlers» fastened together with thread or wire. They are supplemented with small details and elements made of paper, fabric, natural materials, etc. And then a fluffy rabbit with rustling fur, funny snowman,birds, a bright flower or a cute snake.

Such funny toys Children are happy to give them, made with their own hands, to friends for their birthdays, to their mother on March 8th, decorate a New Year tree, a group or a room at home and use them in games.

Here it is, our Christmas tree,
In the brilliance of radiant lights!
She seems more beautiful than everyone else
Everything is greener and lush.
A fairy tale hides in the greenery:
The white swan is swimming
The bunny slides on a sled
The squirrel gnaws nuts.
Here it is, our Christmas tree,
In the brilliance of radiant lights!
We are all dancing for joy
On New Year's Day under it!

Purpose: The New Year tree is an integral attribute of the New Year and Christmas celebrations.
Goals: Making spruce for the New Year and Christmas from plastic bags.
Tasks:
- teach how to cut bags into a long ribbon and make pom-poms;
- development of creative abilities;
- fostering interest in making crafts with your own hands.

For work we will need the following materials and tools:

- 3-4 plastic bags of different colors;

5-6 bags of green and one white;
- Sheet of cardboard 30*30;
- Cardboard;
- Threads with a needle;
- Glue moment crystal
-Pencil, ruler, compass, scissors;

Progress:

In this case, for work, I found green bags that are super durable. They have welded side seams. Previously, I used “T-shirt” type packaging bags for work.
Cut off the handles and bottom of the bag. It turns out to be a pipe.

We fold it almost in half (one fold does not reach the other 15-20 mm), bend it several more times depending on the width of the package.

Cut with fringe, strip width 5 mm

We straighten the twisted strips, but not completely (the long ones get tangled, become electrified and then fall under the blade of the scissors).
Straighten along the fold with the index finger of your left hand.

You can use a ruler.

Cut off the first strip at an acute angle. Next we cut from undercut to undercut. We do it very carefully; in case of a mistake, it turns out not a ribbon, but rings.

We wind the ribbons onto balls.
We make double blanks from cardboard with a fold of 25 and 20 mm wide

Making green pom-poms: * 10 turns with green ribbon, 3 turns with white ribbon*...130 turns in total.
Using a 4-fold thread, we tightly tie the winding towards the fold of the cardboard.

We insert the blade of the scissors between the layers of cardboard and cut the winding.

Fluff the pompom and even it out a little with scissors.

For spruce 350 mm high, prepare:
on cardboard there are 25-17 green pompoms, 3 colored;
narrow the cardboard by 2-3 mm - 13 green pompoms, 3 colored ones;
on cardboard there are 20-10 green pompoms, 2 colored ones;
narrow the cardboard by 2-3 mm - 9 green pompoms, 1 colored one;
for the top of the head 1 two-color pompom.

Glue 1/4 of a circle with a radius of 300 mm into a cone. For reliability, you can stitch or staple.
We start gluing with large pompoms. The first row of pompoms is 10 green.

Glue the second row - between 7 green ones, 3 colored ones.
The third row of 8 green pompoms is slightly smaller in size.

Fourth row: 5 green, 3 colored.
Fifth row: 6 green pom-poms from 20mm wide cardboard.

Sixth row: 4 green, 2 colored.
Next, glue small pom-poms to the top of the head.

Glue the top of the head.
The Christmas tree is ready.

I wish you success in your creativity.
